In the study of Vedic theology, one of the most comforting truths revealed across the scriptures is that the Supreme Creator does not remain permanently distant in His eternal celestial home. While He resides on His royal throne in Satlok (Tritiyam Dham), He repeatedly descends into the material world.
The Rigveda, Yajurveda, and Samveda detail both the divine purpose (Why) and the precise method (How) of Supreme God Kavir Dev’s (God Kabir’s) physical arrival on Earth.
The scriptures outline three primary spiritual objectives for the Supreme Lord’s descent into the material realm of Kaal (Brahm):
WHY GOD KABIR DESCENDS TO EARTH

1. LIBERATE BOUND SOULS 2. REVEAL TATVGYAN 3. DESTROY FALSE ILLUSIONS
• Break Kaal's karmic • Teach the true path • Expose fake gurus and
trap and save souls of worship (*Bhakti*) misleading doctrines
from birth/death. for ultimate Moksha. with divine poetry.
The material universes are governed by Kaal (Brahm), where souls are trapped in the endless wheel of 8.4 million life forms, karma, and suffering. Driven by absolute compassion, God Kabir descends to inform souls of their true home (Satlok) and rescue them from Kaal’s delusion.
The Vedas declare that without the correct method of worship, souls cannot achieve true liberation. God descends to personally deliver Tatvgyan (the ultimate spiritual science) through His spoken word—Kavirvani (Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 96, Mantra 17).
Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 20, Mantra 1 confirms that God Kabir manifests as a protector to defeat false doctrines and expose unscriptural practices spread by ignorant or self-serving spiritual leaders.
Unlike ordinary souls who are forced into the world through biological birth and karmic obligation, God Kabir’s descent is entirely voluntary, non-biological, and divine.
Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 96, Mantra 17 states that when God Kabir descends, He appears as a divine infant (shishum jigyanam). He does not take birth from a biological mother's womb. Instead, He manifests directly on a lotus flower in a body of pure light (Tej).
Rigveda 9.96.17: Explains that the Supreme Lord manifests in the form of a child, grows up through His divine play (leela), and delivers profound wisdom through poetic utterances (Kavir-Girbhih).
Because God Kabir’s original form in Satlok shines with a brilliance exceeding millions of suns (Rigveda 9.86.26), mortal human eyes cannot bear His unveiled presence.
Samveda Utrarchik Mantra 1400 reveals that upon descending, He veils His blinding celestial light with a fainter, human-like appearance (Manushvat / Narvat — Yajurveda 7.39). This allows Him to walk among humans, converse with them, and act as a spiritual guide without overwhelming them.
Rigveda Mandal 9, Sukt 94, Mantra 1 confirms that during His earthly visits, God Kabir roams the world in the humble attire of a wandering saint or poet (Kaviyan Vrajan). He uses simple couplets, folk poetry, and discourses (Pravache — Rigveda 9.95.2) to communicate the highest spiritual truths to common people.
| Stage of Descent | Vedic Reference | Scriptural Fact |
|---|---|---|
| Origin Realm | Rigveda 9.96.18 | Descends directly from the Third Abode (Tritiyam Dham / Satlok). |
| Earthly Arrival | Rigveda 9.96.17 | Appears as a child (shishum) on a lotus flower; bypasses biological birth. |
| Physical Appearance | Yajurveda 7.39 | Assumes a human-like configuration (Manushvat) to walk among people. |
| Method of Teaching | Rigveda 9.95.2 | Delivers true spiritual knowledge (Tatvgyan) via direct speech (Vak). |
| Primary Mission | Rigveda 9.20.1 | Protects true seekers, exposes false doctrines, and guides souls back to Satlok. |
The Vedas reveal that Supreme God Kavir Dev (Kabir) descends to Earth out of infinite love for His trapped children. He arrives not through biological birth, but by manifesting as a divine child on a lotus flower and veiling His unbearable brilliance in a human-like form.
He roams as a saint-poet, preaching Kavirvani to shatter karmic illusions, expose false traditions, and show sincere souls the direct path back to eternal life in Satlok.
